These anti-gravity classes will combine traditional yoga methodology the amazing benefits of weightlessness, strength and deep relaxation. The Yoga Swings make it possible for all levels to experience added fun and ease in the practice. Aerial yoga classes are designed to modify all postures to include the support of the swing. As with the use of any yoga prop, you will find that you can hold and balance in the poses longer to fully experience their healing effects. Increase joint mobility, decompress the vertebrae of the spine, open the hips, remove the weight from the knees, increase blood flow to the brain and calm the nervous system.

Learn the step by step basics of Power Yoga. This class explores empowering modifications safe for all levels to begin your journey into Power. You will leave knowing the basic format of a power class, exactly how to do Sun Salutations A and B with proper alignment with or without modifications and we will discuss what to do as a beginner when there is an arm balance or inversion that isn't yet suitable. This workshop is part discussion, part practice ending with a question and answer session. After our workshop together, you will be ready to take Power, Ashtanga, Hatha Flow and Hot Yoga.

Learn how to turn your world upside down! This workshop will go over the following inversions: headstand, handstand, and scorpion. Inverted poses are an extremely important group of asanas. Inverted asanas reverse the action of gravity on the body; instead of everything being pulled towards the feet, the orientation shifts towards the head. Similarly, on the emotional and psychic levels, inverted asanas turn everything upside down, throwing a new light on old patterns of behavior and being. Generally, these practices improve health, reduce anxiety and stress and increase self-confidence. They also increase mental power, concentration and stimulate the chakras.

The number 108 is sacred across most spiritual realms. Its significance can be associated with ancient traditions, including the mala rosary, which includes 108 beads, each holding a certain blessing or affirmation. In numerology, POWERS of 1, 2 & 3 IN MATH: 1 to 1st power=1; 2 to 2nd power=4 (2×2); 3 to 3rd power=27 (3x3x3). 1x4x27=108.

We celebrate the turn of each solstice (season change) by practicing 108 sun salutations. The intention is to refresh the mind, body, and soul in the transition of each new solstice.

Come and practice the 108 Sun Salutations in honor of all that was, is, and will be.
